Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers

The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) drivers to work with our client based in Darlington . Our client specialises in the delivery of furniture to customers, with handballing involved. The Role: Multi-drop Class 2 driving, delivering furniture directly to customers Handballing and manual handling of furniture involved Efficient and accurate deliveries on scheduled routes This is a customer-facing role, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential - you will be representing both our client and The Best Connection The Candidate: Valid and in-date Cat C driving licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience required Positive attitude towards customer service Ability to handle manual lifting/handballing safely Hours of Work: Ongoing bookings with a 4 on 2 off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off rota Training week provided Pay Rates (PAYE): £16.76 per hour basic rate Uplift for Weekend rates Benefits of Working with The Best Connection: Excellent pay rates 24/7 consultant support Pension contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Access to 'Perks at Work' temporary worker benefit scheme Suitable candidates will be invited to register online.
