Plumbing And Heating Engineer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plumber/Gas engineer to join one of our market leading gas contarctors team in the Milton Keynes area. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and the necessary Gas qualifications, with a passion for delivering high-quality service in Social Housing. Key Responsibilities: * Service and maintain unvented hot water cylinders in accordance with manufacturer instructions and Part G of the Building Regulations. * Carry out safety checks, including inspection of pressure relief valves, temperature & pressure relief valves, and discharge pipework. * Test and re-pressurise expansion vessels/air gaps as required. * Clean strainers and filters to maintain system performance. * Check and test immersion heaters, thermostats, and high-limit cut-outs. * Diagnose and repair faults, replacing components with manufacturer-approved parts. * Commission new or replacement cylinders, complete all required documentation, and hand over to customers. * Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety standards and in line with current legislation Requirements: * NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent) * Gas qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe registered or in the process of becoming qualified) * Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials * Previous experience working in plumbing and gas roles is essential * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities * Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach * Full UK driving license Apply Now
