Architectural Technician Location: Chelmsford Salary:£30-36,000 We're seeking a talented Architectural Technician with strong technical expertise to join a well-established RIBA chartered practice in Chelmsford. Known for their friendly, collaborative culture and excellent reputation, this team delivers high-quality projects across the residential, retail, and healthcare sectors, consistently producing innovative and sustainable designs. This role is ideal for an Architectural Technician with solid post-qualification experience who's eager to grow their skills and progress their career. You'll be a natural team player, enjoy working on residential schemes, and have proven proficiency in AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings to meet client briefs and project requirements Support the development of design solutions from initial concept through to project completion Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and industry standards Skills & Experience Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology Strong, post-qualification experience within a UK-based practice Demonstrated success in delivering residential projects Excellent technical knowledge with strong detailing skills Proficient in AutoCAD Able to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Ideally based locally to Chelmsford To apply, please call Sophie on (phone number removed) or alternatively, send your CV across to (url removed).
