CNC Operator (Verticals) Location: Stroud Salary: £37,500 Contract Type: Permanent Shift Pattern : Double days 37.5 hours Mon Thurs 6am to 2pm - 2pm to 10pm, Fri 6am to 11.30am or 11am to 5pm CNC Operator (Verticals) Location: Stroud Salary: £37,500 Contract Type:Permanent Shift Pattern: £13.50 per hour (plus shift allowance £9620 pa) Verticals 37.5 hours Mon Thurs 10pm to 5am, Fri 5am to 10pm About this role: Haystack Selection are in search experienced CNC Setters (Verticals) to join a busy Stroud Manufacturing Company, with opportunities available on both double days and permanent nights. Youll take ownership of a dedicated CNC Cellsetting up machines, keeping production running smoothly, and ensuring everything meets our quality, safety, and delivery targets. Key Responsibilities: Develop and compile Quality Plans / Inspection Test Plans in line with legislation, industry standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures. Provide technical support to all departments for customer quality queries. Investigate quality issues and lead corrective and preventative actions (including 8D and root cause analysis). Assist in developing internal audit processes and monitoring NCR and supplier reject systems. Provide KPI analysis for performance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives. Organise and facilitate third-party audits in conjunction with the Quality Manager. Represent the Quality Manager in meetings when required. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues Skills & Experience Required: Strong working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management systems. Experience in quality auditing and monitoring desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively. Competent in MS Office and other relevant IT systems. This role may also be of interest to candidates with experience in: CNC Machinist, CNC Operator/Setter, CNC Programmer/Setter, Machine Setter, Precision Machinist, or CNC Technician. Interested?
