Job Description

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Engineer. This role is suitable for an engineer who thrives on process improvement and design and relishes the opportunity to travel overseas to support clients. Whats on offer: 4 day week when office based- enjoy your long weekend! Up to £48K neg including travel allowance. Overseas international travel to USA and China Excellent pension scheme and life assurance Premium travel arrangements and accommodation Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: Use skills within turning or milling to enhance quality and build of high precision components. Write stage processes for component build. Write programmes with CAD and identify tooling requirements. Support sales with BOMs. Familiarity with Fanuc machine controls Drive optimisation and production processes. Working on CAM fusion software About you: A positive can do attitude with the ability to travel overseas when required. Experience of the metal cutting industry and precision components Ability to diagnose problems and deliver practical engineering solutions. Experience of machine controls, preferably Fanuc Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Confidence to produce stage drawings for manufacturing process implementations.
