Vacancy Information The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £16.14 - £17.24 Days and Hours of Work: Working between Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00. Days of working are negotiable, starting and finishing times are flexible, and flexi time is applicable. To start asap. Post 1 - 35 Hours per Week Post 2 - 25 Hours per Week Post 3 - 21 Hours per Week You will be asked to indicate which post(s) you would like to be considered for when you complete the application form. The Employment and Reward Team are responsible for delivering operational Employment and Reward services including the processing of all employee contracts and pay records, and administering of associated pensions and payments. We also manage a range of non-financial rewards and salary sacrifice schemes. It is an extremely busy team with tight deadlines to ensure employees are paid correctly each month. We currently have a vacancies for a full-time and 2 part time Employment & Reward Officers to join our friendly team and help us to provide an efficient and effective HR and Payroll service. You should be self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and able to work to deadlines. Accuracy and having a very good eye for detail are essential requirements for this role. Previous experience of working in either a payroll or HR setting would be highly desirable but training will be offered. Please Note - These roles will be office based for the initial training period (around 6-8 weeks minimum), after which there would be the option to request hybrid or home working. Please do not apply if you are unable to work from the Haddington Office for the initial training period. Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis. Job Requirements Relevant Qualifications Educated to ‘Higher’ level, NC or SVQ level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience. Level 1 Disclosure Clearance This role requires Level 1 Disclosure Clearance to allow access to the Public Sector Network. ELC will submit a Police Act Disclosure application on behalf of the preferred candidate and receipt of the subsequent certificate will be required prior to commencement.
