Your new role Sales Engineer - Leading-Edge Network and Security We are looking for an experienced technical individual with a focus on leading-edge network and security solutions, across multiple verticals and vendors. The ideal candidate will understand network architecture and design, as well as experience with the latest network and security principles. * Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, working with Sales & Solution Consultants from an early stage of the opportunity cycle from both a technical & commercial perspective. * Design and deliver detailed presentations and documentation both * internally & externally that showcase your solution and benefits – either in person or over a video conferencing tool. * Remain knowledgeable in your allotted technology vertical as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), by continuing to develop your skills and study new market data. * Expectations for the role in 3 months is to have intermediate knowledge of the Exponential-e technologies. * Success in this role will look like working autonomously on customer designs What you’ll need to succeed * Demonstratable organization, analytical, and presentation skills. * Working knowledge in common networking principles & protocols such as: * L2-L4 TCP/IP Stack * Protocols such as OSPF, BGP & VRRP * Next-Gen Firewall, IPSec & application-aware routing * SSIDs & Authentication What we offer * Working at the forefront of technology you will gain hands on experience with SD-WAN and SASE technologies * Hybrid home and office working * Deliver innovative technology and solutions in the most challenging sectors * Dedicated Learning and Development team and access to a range of training, courses and certification support * Comprehensive benefits including on-site cafe with free barista coffee, birthday leave, charity leave, vitality health cover and holiday purchase scheme to gain an extra 5 days leave!
