Job Description

Our client, a leading brickwork and masonry contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a variety of exciting projects, contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality work while ensuring commercial and financial objectives are met. Key Responsibilities: Managing costs on construction projects from initial estimates through to final accounts Preparing valuations, variations, and subcontractor payments Monitoring budgets, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency Liaising with clients, site teams, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector (brickwork experience desirable) Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Proficient in relevant software and Microsoft Office packages Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential) What's on Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Career development opportunities within a well-respected contractor Supportive and collaborative team environment If you are a proactive and driven Quantity Surveyor looking to progress your career, we'd love to hear from you.
