Mens Knitwear Designer

We're excited to be working with a global fashion supplier who partners with some of the biggest names on the high street. They're now looking for a passionate, creative, and commercially-minded Mens Knitwear Designer to bring fresh ideas and technical expertise to their fast-paced design team. This is a brilliant chance to design innovative, trend-led knitwear collections for Menswear and Boyswear across multiple retail accounts. From research to final product, you'll play a key role in shaping ranges that are both fashion-forward and commercially successful. Main Responsibilities will include: Spot the latest trends in yarns, stitches, colours, and silhouettes, and turn them into must-have designs. Build inspiring mood boards and seasonal collections tailored to each retailer's needs. Present with confidence in customer meetings, delivering innovative and commercial solutions to briefs. Keep one step ahead with regular market and competitor research. Create detailed CAD designs that showcase your creativity and precision. Collaborate closely with Far East factories, preparing clear tech packs and ensuring a smooth development process from concept to final sample. Person Specifications: Proven experience in mens knitwear design. Team player, friendly and driven with a passion for knitwear. Strong technical knowledge of yarns, stitches, and garment construction. A sharp commercial eye, with the ability to balance creativity and retail viability. Confident communication and presentation skills.
