Job Description

We are working with a highly successful and well-established supplier to several leading UK high street retailers, e-tailers, and supermarkets. They are now seeking a talented and creative Ladies' Outerwear Designer t o join their dynamic design team. You should have some supplier experience and be confident working within a team and presenting to buyers when required. This role does offer 1 day wfh. Main Duties and Responsibilities will include : Design and develop commercial, trend-led outerwear collections for ladies, with a strong emphasis on casual styles Work closely with buyers and internal teams to deliver designs that meet customer briefs and market trends Produce clear CAD designs, detailed tech packs, and oversee sample development Contribute fresh ideas, mood boards, and seasonal trend research Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, creative team environment Person Specification: A strong portfolio showcasing commercial outerwear designs, ideally across coats, jackets, parkas, and lightweight styles Proven experience within a supplier or brand environment Understanding and experience working with overseas suppliers in China, Morocco & Bangladesh Excellent knowledge of current trends, fabrics, and garment construction Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photo shop, and Microsoft Office Flexible, proactive, and a great team player with a hands-on approach This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, growing business where creativity and commercial awareness go hand in hand.
