Finance Analyst - ACA/CA Newly Qualified Opportunity

Equifind have partnered with a UK-based fintech business to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their London operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a first-mover who has recently qualified and trained with an accounting firm, whether in audit, advisory, or business services. The role is broad and varied, giving the successful candidate a fantastic platform to gain exposure and visibility across the business. It offers the chance to sharpen technical skills, put their training and qualifications into practice, and start building commercial acumen. As a key liaison between finance and the wider business, the new hire will bring a strong mix of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and interpersonal skills to provide financial analysis, strategic guidance, and support to senior management and department heads. Key Duties Include: Manage monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory year-end reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across key business units Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing insight and challenge Deliver financial analysis and modelling to support commercial decision-making Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls Contribute to ad-hoc projects including systems upgrades, M&A, and integration work Present financial information in a clear, concise way to senior leadership Experience & Qualifications: Qualified accountant (preferably ACA/CA) 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm or another finance function Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate finance for non-finance stakeholders Advanced Excel and modelling skills Commercially astute, with proven business awareness Compensation & Benefits: Base salary: £60–70,000 Annual bonus (performance-based) 25 days’ annual leave Employer pension contribution Cycle to Work Scheme Private healthcare & dental Death in service Subsidised gym membership
