Director – Rural Surveyor | Inverness Leading Estate Management Consultancy Location: Inverness, Highlands Position: Full-time, Permanent Level: Director Websters Rural is proud to be working in partnership with a prestigious and well-established national property consultancy to appoint a dynamic and commercially minded Director to join their Rural team, based in Inverness. This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role in one of the Highland’s most respected and progressive rural estate management practices. The position will suit an experienced Chartered Surveyor with a strong background in rural estate management, looking to step into a role with autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to help shape the future of rural consultancy in the region. The Role The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of estate management services across a diverse portfolio of private and institutional rural estates throughout the Highlands. You will be responsible for leading client relationships, mentoring a team of surveyors, and driving business development initiatives to grow the firm’s presence across the region. Key Responsibilities: Leading and developing long-term estate management strategies for private and corporate clients Acting as a trusted advisor on rural asset management, diversification, and environmental opportunities Line management and mentoring of junior surveyors and graduates Building and maintaining strong client relationships and networks across the rural sector Supporting business development and contributing to the strategic direction of the Inverness office Ensuring full compliance with relevant professional and regulatory standards The Ideal Candidate: MRICS qualified with a strong track record in rural estate management Ideally 10 years post-qualification experience, with previous leadership or Director-level experience desirable Strong understanding of the rural sector in Scotland, particularly the unique opportunities and challenges in the Highlands A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on business development opportunities Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills Committed to delivering high-quality service and long-term client value Why Apply?
