Class 1 weekend driver

Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 drivers for weekend work nn behalf of their client in Teesport. There are days and night shifts available. Hours of work: Saturday and/ OR Sunday Night shifts (one hit distance work) Day Shifts Salary: £17.00 Saturday (inclusive of holiday pay) £18.00 Sunday (inclusive of holiday pay) The Role: Store deliveries Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift. Essential Skills: Must hold a valid HGV 1 Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
