Job Title: School Caretaker Location: Watford / Hemel Hempstead Start Date: September / October Type: 12 Weeks Temp-to-Perm Pay Rate: £13 – £17 per hour (depending on experience) We are currently recruiting School Caretakers for multiple schools across Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Northampton, and Milton Keynes . These roles are ideal for reliable, proactive individuals looking for long-term opportunities within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day maintenance of school buildings and grounds Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance work Ensuring classrooms, corridors, and facilities are safe and well-maintained Opening and closing the school premises (where required) Monitoring health & safety standards across the site Supporting staff with general site-related duties Requirements: Previous experience as a caretaker, site manager, or facilities/maintenance role (preferred) Good practical skills and ability to carry out repairs Strong awareness of health & safety procedures Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain) Why Apply? ?
