Sweeper Driver/Labourer Belfast

Join the team keeping Belfast clean and safe! Belfast City Council are looking for a reliable sweeper driver/labourer to operate cleansing vehicles and carry out street and park cleaning duties across the city. Job location- Duncrue Industrial Estate, Belfast. Main duties of this role will include: Drive and maintain council vehicles Working as part of a small team across Belfast Maintaining clean streets, parks, footpaths and litter bins Support general labouring duties Follow daily routes and safety procedures Enjoy a steady weekday schedule with hours from 7.30am-3.30pm Monday to Thursday, and an early finish Friday at 3pm. This role will operate on an hourly basis of £13.05 per hour and is a temporary position for 3 months with the opportunity of an extension based on performance. What We Need From You Applicants must hold a full, current category C1 driving license Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC) At least 1 years experience in commercial driving, outdoor cleaning with safe equipment use and dealing with the public in person.
