Senior Quantity Surveyor - High Rise Residential Developer Location: North West Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 Excellent Package (including Car Allowance) Type: Permanent Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? The Company: We are working exclusively with a highly regarded North West-based developer known for delivering high-quality, high-rise residential developments across the region. With a strong project pipeline and significant growth plans, they are now seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The Role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially responsible for one or more major residential schemes, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, technically sound, and eager to progress into a Commercial Manager role in the near future. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full commercial lifecycle of large-scale residential developments Prepare, manage and negotiate sub-contractor packages Carry out cost planning, reporting and forecasting Work closely with the delivery team to ensure financial targets are met Liaise with consultants, supply chain, and internal stakeholders Support and mentor junior commercial staff where applicable Contribute to the overall commercial strategy of the business Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working on high-rise residential projects Background with Tier 1 contractors or reputable regional developers Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge (JCT/Design & Build) Excellent negotiation, communication and reporting skills Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field Ambition to move into a Commercial Manager role in the future What's on Offer: Competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) Excellent package including car allowance and benefits Long-term career progression with a growing developer Opportunity to work on landmark residential schemes Supportive and forward-thinking commercial team
