CNC Grinding Operator/Machinist

Pitstone, Tring, Hertfordshire £33,225 per annum 14.5% Shift allowance = £38,042 Benefits: 6% Bonus, Excellent Pension, 25 Days Holiday 8 Bank holidays, Dental, High street discounts, Workplace nursery scheme, Midday finish on Fridays, Enhanced family friendly policies, Wellbeing programme, Employee assistance programme including health and finance, Onsite subsidised canteen Shift Pattern Week 1: Monday to Thursday: 6.00am to 2.00pm Friday: 6.00am to 11.00am Week 2: Monday to Thursday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm Friday: 11.00am to 4.00pm This shift pattern attracts a 14.5% shift premium on basic salary above. If you have experience in CNC Grinding of metals to fine tolerances we would be interested in speaking with you. We are particularly interested in experience with Cylindrical Grinding. The Role: Setting and Operating Machines to set programs, if you have programming experience this would be great. Following Engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble products Operate machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures Strip, survey and fitting for generators and motors Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to work area and processes. Desirable Experience We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but were also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have experience in CNC Machining with some work as a Grinder from any relevant industries wed love to hear from you. We ask that you are able to lift weighs of up to 25kgs, and have the technical abilities to learn our products.
