Junior Quantity Surveyor

Junior Quantity Surveyor Location: Northampton Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Salary: DOE A growing and forward-thinking business is looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and site teams across a range of projects, ensuring effective cost control, procurement, and contract management. Duties Monitor and manage project costs Assist with procurement and sourcing materials Prepare and review tender documents, including bills of quantities and SORs Maintain accurate site records and track progress Support with contractual, health and safety, and environmental compliance Liaise with site teams for accurate paperwork submission Support payment collection and dispute resolution Review subcontractor quotes and process applications for payment Record, price, and manage variations and change orders Work closely with the Senior QS to deliver projects on time and within budgetThe Candidate 1–4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (ideally within construction/civils) Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar (or working towards one) Practical mindset with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and realistic expectations of site work
