Project Quantity Surveyor

Project Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance * Salary up to £70k Car Allowance 8% Pension Enhanced Parental Leave * Location: Redditch (with flexible site travel) * Project: £15m SHDF Role We’re working with one of the UK’s leading property services companies, currently delivering a £15 million Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) project over the next three years. As a result of this exciting secured pipeline, they're now seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team and help drive success on this flagship programme. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all commercial aspects of the £15M SHDF contract * Prepare, submit, and manage applications for payment and final accounts * Monitor project costs, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow * Negotiate and manage subcontracts and variations * Support with procurement strategy and value engineering * Work closely with operational teams to ensure commercial compliance * Provide regular reports to senior management and the client * Ensure compliance with SHDF funding requirements and reporting What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within Social Housing, or Property Services and Planned Maintenance * Strong understanding of standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC etc.) * SHDF or Retrofit experience is beneficial but not essential * Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills * Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field Why Join? * Up to £70k salary Car allowance 8% employer pension contribution Enhanced family leave: 6 months maternity & 3 months paternity (full pay) * A strong, secured pipeline of long-term retrofit work * Be part of a team making a tangible impact on housing quality and energy efficiency across the UK
