Surveyor South-West London £45k - £50k Repairs and Maintenance Build Recruitment are proud to be representing a social housing company based in the South-West London area who are looking for a highly skilled Surveyor to join their team. The works will cover Reactive, Voids and some Disrepair cases. Responsibilities: Carry out detailed property inspections and diagnose defects, to produce detailed reports, prioritising & progressing remedial actions, and keeping customers informed. Work on insurance claims, escalated cases and on occasion cover legal disrepair cases Carry out pre, post and Work in Progress inspections recording findings on their systems and managing issues through to a satisfactory resolution. Generate contractor orders and help coordinate work. Build confident, collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders including building contractors, suppliers, consultants, health & safety specialists, and customers Maintain and update accurate records Manage and supervise delivery of high quality work and projects, delivering projects on time and in budget.Key Knowledge: Social Housing, Building Contractor and local authority industry knowledge IT and Excel Literate A full valid driving license with access to a car during the working week A degree in a surveying-related subject Experience in project management: procuring, implementing, delivering and supervisingIf this sounds like a role that suits your profile, then feel free to get in touch
