Job Title: Design Manager Location: High Wycombe About the Role I am seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead and oversee design operations for a fast-paced and growing business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the design team, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions across projects. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Oversee the design process from concept through to delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with business objectives. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and delivered on time. Manage resources, budgets, and schedules to meet project requirements. Champion design best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement. Act as the key point of contact for clients and internal teams on all design-related matters. Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Design Manage with the Main Contracting space. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop talent. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong technical knowledge with the ability to challenge and support the team. Highly organised, with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
