Quantity Surveyor - Energy Efficiency Upgrades

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Across the North West Regions Salary: Competitive Benefits Contract Type: Permanent About the Role: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our client's growing team, delivering cutting-edge energy efficiency upgrades across social housing and public sector buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key commercial role in projects that drive sustainability, reduce fuel poverty, and support the UK's transition to net-zero. Key Responsibilities: Provide end-to-end commercial management of energy efficiency projects, from tender through to final account. Prepare and manage accurate cost plans, budgets, and financial reports. Assess and value subcontractor works, including payment applications and variations. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements. Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and client representatives. Identify and mitigate commercial risks. Support in procurement and contract negotiation. Project Types: You will be supporting the delivery of projects such as: External and Cavity Wall Insulation Loft and Roof Insulation Solar PV System Installations Air Source Heat Pump Installations EV Charging Infrastructure What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or energy efficiency sectors. Knowledge of public sector or social housing frameworks is highly desirable. Strong commercial acumen and contract knowledge (NEC, JCT). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Why Join?
