Setting Out Engineer – Civils – Worthing We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor who is delivering a key infrastructure project in Worthing. They are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join their team on-site and play a pivotal role in delivering the project to the highest standards. Role Overview: As the Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction works are carried out accurately, safely, and in accordance with design specifications. You’ll be working closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth project delivery. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out and surveying of civil works (e.g., drainage, roads, foundations, structures) * Interpreting drawings and coordinating technical information on site * Managing QA and as-built documentation * Ensuring health and safety compliance at all times * Liaising with the site manager and wider project team to ensure progress is maintained * Assisting with permits, RAMS, and material take-offs as required Requirements: * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects * Proficient with total station, GPS, AutoCAD and other surveying tools * CSCS card (essential) * SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred) * Right to work in the UK * Immediate availability or short notice preferred Location: * Worthing, West Sussex If you are interested in this position please call Georgia at CPR Recruitment
