Job Description

3D Personnel is working with a respected player in the UK construction industry that is seeking a proactive and commercially astute individual to take on a key role in project delivery. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving. This would be ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants their impact to be seen across high-value projects. Role Highlights * Lead the valuation and payment application process for active contracts and projects. * Resolve invoicing and payment issues efficiently and collaboratively. * Negotiate and agree final accounts while ensuring maximum financial performance. * Identify and validate variations with technical support on hand when needed. * Understand contract scopes in detail and drive compliance across delivery teams. * Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, ensuring clarity and alignment. * Develop and refine schedules, BOQs, and activity breakdowns tailored to each project. * Support monthly reporting cycles with accurate commercial data and cashflow forecasting. * Engage with suppliers—managing contracts, ensuring payments, and tendering specialist works when needed. Success Measures * Consistently meet internal and contractual commercial deadlines. * Drive financial value through accurate forecasting and cost control. * Challenge inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement. * Represent the business with professionalism, integrity, and technical competence. What You’ll Bring * A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related field. * Experience within UK construction, including substantial commercial exposure. * Experience of overseeing hard fabric or structural trade activities. * Solid command of JCT contracts and working knowledge of construction law and dispute processes. * Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with broader software tools used in commercial roles. * Curious, adaptable, and comfortable implementing new systems or ways of working. * Trusted relationship builder with clients and project teams. * Skilled analyst and problem-solver with a calm, solutions-focused approach
