Job Description
Location: Berkshire Type: Contract Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 Per Hour Orka Financial is currently partnering with an exciting business based in Twyford who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join the team as soon as possible. Responsibilities Preparation of daily account reconciliations for bank and cards including resolving of discrepancies Regular reconciliation of AP and AR ledgers, and balance sheet accounts Preparation of month end accounts close including processing month end journals using SAP Processing supplier invoices in SAP and schedule payment runs for approval Follow up on disputed invoices and resolve quickly for payment with suppliers and sales HMRC portal experience for VAT returns desirable. Requirements Experience with SAP is essential along with good excel skills Able to demonstrate prior experience of involvement in month end accounting A working knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations A qualification is desirable but qualified by experience is also accepted Attention to detail and good time management skills A proactive attitude and able to look for improvements to processes.
