HGV Class 1 Driver

CLASS 1 & CLASS 2 HGV DRIVERS SLOUGH Start Date: As soon As Possible. Shift Start Time: Multiple different shifts available Pay (paye): Class 1: £17.65 per hour Class 2: £15.00 per hour Were recruiting experienced Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for an exciting logistics contract based in Slough , supporting high-profile transport operations within the production, staging, and events industry . This is a long-term opportunity for drivers who take pride in professional driving, punctuality, and responsibility. The work involves interesting, non-standard assignments ideal for those who want something beyond general haulage. ROLE OVERVIEW Class 1 (CE) Duties: Transporting trailers between sites and event locations Use of American-style trailer hooks (training provided if required) No manual handling trailer-only work Precision driving, often on production schedules with tight turnarounds May involve overnight stays depending on the run Class 2 (Cat C) Duties: Moving production sets and stage equipment to film, TV, or live event venues No loading/unloading drivers strictly operate the vehicle Straightforward routes but require good spatial awareness and professionalism WHY THIS ROLE?
