CNC TURNER OPERATOR/SETTER MONDAY - THURSDAY: 07:30 – 16:00 & FRIDAY 07:30 – 15:00 PAY RATE: £17.00 PER HOUR (£34,476.00 Per Year when Permanent) People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner Operator/Setter to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in the manufacturing process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards. Benefits Holiday pay Opportunity to go permanent Early finish on Fridays No weekend work Excellent hourly rates Day to Day Duties Setting and operating 2 Axix CNC Lathes Working on Fanuc Controls Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings to BS/ISO Standards. Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments (Micrometres, Verniers etc.) Deburring parts using various hand tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and machine operation. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Essential Skills Proven experience in setting and operating CNC Lathes & tooling using precision measurement equipment Editing experience and G Code Knowledge Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings Familiarity with logic controllers and basic maths for measurement calculations Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more!
