In this role, the successful Graduate/Trainee Operations Manager or similar will undergo training to become fully adept in the world of Fabrication. In this role, you will become the main point of contact between both clients and customers alike - ensuring technical documentation and accurate quotation are recoded and relayed as and when needed. In addition, you will also be responsible for Supplier Liaison as well as Material Purchasing. A large portion of your role will consist of shadowing the director - through this, you will learn how to perform surveys, estimations, quotations and tenders etc Finally, you will be responsible for Production co-ordination and Scheduling. The ideal Graduate/Trainee Operations Manager or similar will have a degree and/or previous experience within an Engineering or related field. You will also have strong communicational and organisational skills. In addition, you will be computer literate, with a hands-on attitude. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
