Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in commercial interiors, refurbishment, and CAT A/B fit-out projects valued at £1M. This role involves monitoring and controlling project costs, maximising revenue, and ensuring robust financial management across multiple projects. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring all commercial and contractual requirements are met while supporting both live projects and pre-construction activities. Key Responsibilities * Deliver accurate financial reporting to achieve commercial results. * Manage subcontractor and supplier accounts, ensuring financial and contractual compliance. * Place and manage supply chain orders in line with procurement schedules. * Carry out measurements and valuations of work executed in accordance with contract conditions. * Prepare, negotiate, and agree subcontract agreements and final accounts. * Ensure timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers. * Monitor project expenditure against budgets, identifying risks and opportunities. * Liaise with clients on commercial matters, including claims, variations, and payments. * Produce and monitor project cash flows. * Provide commercial input during tendering and bid submissions. * Collaborate with project teams and senior management to maximise value and minimise liabilities. Requirements * Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (HND/HNC considered with strong experience). * Proven experience in refurbishment and fit-out projects (£1M). * Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts. * Previous pre- and post-contract QS experience. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. * Flexibility to travel across the UK & Ireland when required. * Valid CSCS/CSR card. * Full UK driving licence.
