Job Title - Tenant Liaison Officer Location - Manchester (Greater Manchester Region) Start Date - September 2025 Rate - £17-20 per hour Contract Type - Long-Term Freelance Leading National Contractor – Affordable Housing Refurbishment Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for communication and community engagement? Join one of the UK’s leading national contractors as a Tenant Liaison Officer, supporting residents across Affordable Housing refurbishment projects in and around Manchester. We’re delivering a range of refurbishment and improvement schemes across social housing properties, including kitchen and bathroom upgrades, wet room installations, and accessibility improvement works. You’ll be the vital link between our construction teams and the residents we serve – ensuring a smooth, respectful, and informed experience for all. Key Responsibilities: * Act as the main point of contact for tenants before, during, and after construction works * Carry out home visits and resident consultations to explain scope of works and timescales * Coordinate access arrangements and resolve any scheduling or access issues * Address tenant concerns empathetically and promptly * Ensure residents feel supported, informed, and respected throughout the refurbishment process * Liaise daily with site teams, subcontractors, and housing providers to maintain smooth project delivery * Assist with complaint handling, community engagement initiatives, and satisfaction surveys What We’re Looking For: * Previous experience in a similar Tenant Liaison Officer, Resident Liaison, Customer Care, or Housing Support role * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and confident manner * Ability to work independently and manage your time across multiple live sites * Understanding of social housing, refurbishment, or construction environments preferred * Full UK Driving Licence – travel across Greater Manchester required What We Offer: * Competitive salary and travel package (company vehicle or allowance) * Opportunity to work with a respected national contractor on meaningful community-focused projects * Supportive and inclusive working environment * Career development and training opportunities Ready to Apply?
