HGV Class 1 Driver- Afters

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C&E) Drivers to join the team. Roles: HGV Class 1 - Afters Hours: Class 1 Afters - Across Sunday to Saturday - 16:00pm Please note drivers must be available to work weekends within their availability * Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour PAYE Location: Southampton, SO16 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence for the relevant licence. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. . Experience on the relevant vehicle required No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
