Quantity Surveyor – Complex £20m Refurbishment Projects Location: London | Salary: £70,000–£80,000 We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a team delivering complex, high-value refurbishment schemes. This role is ideal for a QS with a proven track record managing commercial aspects of £20m projects, particularly those with multiple sub-contractors, heritage considerations, or intricate design requirements. The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you will: * Manage all commercial elements of high-value refurbishment projects. * Monitor and control costs, including subcontractor orders, variations, and construction costs. * Work closely with the Site Management team to ensure accurate cost tracking. * Prepare and present applications for payment to the client’s Project QS and ensure fair payments and retentions. * Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in delivering robust commercial management and reporting. About You * 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor on refurbishment projects. * Proven delivery of projects around £20m in value. * Strong knowledge of cost control, procurement, and contract administration. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Commercially astute with an ability to work independently on complex projects.
