Welder Fabricator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aluminium Welder / Fabricator to join our client's dynamic workshop team. This role involves welding and fabricating light gauge materials using TIG and MIG processes, with a focus on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel (typically 1mm3mm thickness). The position is ideal for a skilled welder looking for a full-time, stable role in a professional and supportive environment. While TIG proficiency is essential, MIG experience is preferred but not mandatory , as in-house training will be provided if needed. Key Responsibilities: Perform TIG and MIG welding (mainly light gauge: 1mm3mm), focusing on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel. Accurately measure, mark, and align components using tools such as clamps and callipers. Fabricate and assemble components according to technical drawings and specifications. Inspect welds and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe working environment. Collaborate with colleagues to meet production goals and deadlines. Working Hours: Monday Thursday: 08:00 16:45 Friday: 08:00 15:00 Requirements: Proven experience in TIG welding aluminium and light gauge materials. Ability to read and work from fabrication drawings. Good attention to detail and manual dexterity. MIG welding experience (advantageous, but can be taught in-house). Familiarity with workshop tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment. Strong awareness of health and safety practices. Team player with a strong work ethic and reliability.
