Fit-Out Production Manager

Production Manager – Wakefield £50,000–£55,000 benefits We’re working with a successful and continually growing business in West Yorkshire who are looking for a Production Manager to lead their fit-out team. This is a key role where you’ll be shaping the department, driving performance, and making sure projects are delivered to the highest standards. What you’ll be doing: Leading a team of fabricators and welders, ensuring quality and efficiency. Working closely with sales and internal teams to plan and allocate workloads. Managing contractors and specialist staff as required. Making sure technical drawings and specifications are followed accurately. What we’re looking for: Experience managing specialist build teams, ideally within a fit-out or project-based environment. Strong background in modular, bespoke, or industrial equipment production. Proven track record of building or developing a department – hiring, processes, and driving operational performance. Confident working with customers to make sure projects meet requirements and sign-off standards. Ideally, a qualification in Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma (but experience counts just as much).
