Estimator – Façade & Cladding Systems

Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for façades, cladding, and architectural excellence? My client, a specialist in high-performance cladding systems, is looking for a commercially focused Sales Estimator to join their expanding team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most prestigious construction projects, involving cutting-edge materials like natural stone, technical stone, rainscreen systems, porcelain, and terracotta. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for façade and cladding packages. * Analyse architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation. * Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for pricing and technical input. * Support the commercial team in developing cost-effective, value-engineered solutions. * Present proposals and cost breakdowns to clients and stakeholders. * Attend site visits, tender meetings, and client presentations as required. * Maintain up-to-date estimating databases and contribute to continuous process improvement. Requirements * 3–5 years of estimating experience, ideally within facades, cladding, or external envelope systems. * Strong knowledge of rainscreen cladding, stone systems, and general construction methods. * Confident in reading technical and architectural drawings/specifications. * Proficiency in MS Excel and estimating tools such as Bluebeam, OSTO, or similar. * Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and manage risk. * Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset. * Full UK driving licence (for site and client meetings).
