Supply Planner

A leading consumer goods distribution business based in South Manchester are looking for a Supply Planner to join their team. As Supply Planner you will be responsible for managing inbound supply into UK distribution sites, ensuring inventory is kept within agreed parameters and work cross functionally with key departments internally to drive supply chain excellence across the business. About the role: Engage with procurement and the supply base, manage supplier call offs and inbound supply into European logistics hubs Engage with NPI and support the phase in/ phase out of new products Engage with commercial to drive a robust demand forecast Ensure inventory is kept at optimum levels Ensure integrity of the ERP system About the person: Previous experience working within a supply planning role Experience working with long lead times would be preferential Excellent stakeholder engagement skills Strong Excel skills To apply for the role please send your CV to Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
