Van Delivery Driver

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting Van Home delivery drivers for a well known client of ours, based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi-national organization, with the potential for growth and opportunities. This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties. The type of goods you will be delivering are TV's, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods etc. This role also involves working as a support van driver, any deliveries that are not able to be met by the HGV team, van drivers are called to support. Due to the weight of the products you are delivering you MUST be physically fit. The company offer the customer a 'room of choice' delivery, you will be fully trained on how to do this. Upon successful application, all new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code. This will then be followed the next day with a subsequent induction day. The company operate 7 days a week, they will expect you to work 4 days in the week and a Saturday or Sunday each week. Please only apply if you can work at the weekends. Shift timings are 06.00 start, shifts last roughly 8-10 hours. Pay rate - £14.26 per hour. After 12 weeks, you can be offered a contract directly with the company. You must have a valid UK License, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
