ROLE: Estimator SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 LOCATION: London We are working with a well-established manufacturer of structural and architectural metalwork, including steelwork, balconies, staircases, and more, who are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in producing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of metalwork projects. You'll collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and project managers to ensure every quote is precise, competitive, and commercially viable. Your work will directly influence project planning and successful delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural and architectural metalwork projects. Analyse drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Quantify materials, labour, and time requirements. Source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. Contribute to the development of cost-effective, value-engineered solutions. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator within architectural and structural metalwork. Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction industry standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
