Job Description

We're recruiting a Supply Chain Planner for a cutting-edge, venture-backed engineering and manufacturing company working at the forefront of metal component innovation. With operations across the UK, US, and Asia, this is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, cross-functional team developing high-performance solutions. This role is based at the company's modern manufacturing site in Abingdon, where you'll work closely with engineering and finance teams to identify, evaluate, and secure critical suppliers to support the development and manufacturing. As Supply Chain Planner Key Responsibilities: Source and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and compliance Negotiate contracts and pricing for production components Implement risk management strategies including dual sourcing Align procurement operations with ISO 9100 standards Work collaboratively with engineering and finance teams on supply chain strategy About You: Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in supply chain, procurement or sourcing within a technical or manufacturing environment Detail-oriented and analytical, with a strategic mindset Educated to degree level or with equivalent industry experience This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious and highly innovative team.
