Overview Trainee - NPI Fixed Networks Customer Engineer at Nokia. Join to apply for the Trainee - NPI Fixed Networks Customer Engineer role at Nokia. Job Description: Join our team to gain hands-on experience with Fixed Access Networks technology, through lab work, equipment configuration, and inventory management. You'll also participate in customer-facing activities, including product demos, technical trials, and deployment projects. You will enjoy a dynamic mix of technical and sales activities. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn Focus and learn about Fixed Access Networks technology, particularly Fiber. Get hands-on experience in the laboratory. Perform equipment configuration, lab maintenance, and inventory management. Be involved in customer activities. Participate in customer presentations (product or solution demos) and technical trials (lab trials, field trials). Contribute during deployment projects. Key Skills And Experience Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Programming background: able to create scripts in Shell, Perl, or other. User-level experience with Linux. Knowledge of operating systems. Basic knowledge of IP networks (L2: bridging concepts; L2 protocols: LACP, IGMP; L3: IPv4, IPv6; L3 protocols). Strong teamwork skills. Presentation skills.
