About the Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality/Product Inspector with experience in paper, molded fiber, or plastics packaging. This role involves inspecting finished products for quality issues, and testing/evaluating new products in development. The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, familiar with measurement tools, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be capable of managing small projects. We're seeking someone who strives to understand the root cause of issues and continuously looks for ways to improve. 


Primary Responsibilities 

  • The primary responsibility is to conduct inspections and testing of products for quality control and specifications.    Requires hands-on measurement and analysis of products such as measuring diameters, volumes, lid fits, structural strength, impact of different foods, heat, moisture, cold etc. 
  • Investigate Customer Complaints- Research and test products to confirm issues, and document any non-conformances
  • Document all testing results, log results, and communicate conclusions to the team
  • Test new products to ensure compliance with current standards and requirements.
  • Utilize measurement tools to ensure product compliance with quality standards.
  • Update and maintain documentation, including quality standards and inspection reports.
  • Communicate timely and effectively through emails with team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee small projects related to product quality and development initiatives.
  • Attend key meetings and report results as needed
  • Send out samples as required utilizing third-party shipping software




 Required Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
  • Reports to: Director of PD & aper, fiber packaging testing and evaluation
  • Highly detail-oriented, excellent organization and analytical skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or additional laboratory management software to document experimental and test results.
  • Ability to stand for long stretches of time, up to 4 hours.
  • Certification in product inspection is preferred- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector.
  • Proficient with measurement tools and computer applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

Logistics: This position is on-site in Stone Mountain, GA and is on-site full time

Salary range: 60-65k base salary + generous bonus and benefits



Compensation details: 60000-65000 Yearly Salary
