Job Title: Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience License: Current ARRT credential and OBMI license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with electrophysiology lab procedures Description: Electrophysiology Lab Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist required. Must have a good amount of EP Lab experience. Four 10-hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00. The technologist must be able to circulate and scrub during EP ablations and device placements. Experience with ablations is a must, while device placement experience alone is not sufficient. Responsibilities include pulling supplies for each case. Setting up the scrub table for ablation and device implant procedures. Draping the patient and scrubbing in with the physician for venous and arterial access procedures. Scrubbing transeptal ablations. Pulling sheaths and holding manual pressure or assisting with z-stitch/closure device. Running fluoroscopy and getting the patient ready on the table with the RN and EPT. Scrubbing in for generator device changes. Experience with TAVR and TMVR procedures preferred. The role involves monitoring procedures, scrubbing procedures, and assisting with supply and equipment management. Flexibility to support EP procedures is required. PALS and pediatric experience preferred, but not required. Call is required on weeknights and weekends. Candidates should be able to scrub TAVRs and mitra clips. Experience with complex procedures is essential. It is expected that candidates have experience with IABP placement/removal and Impella insertion. The primary function includes operating fluoroscopy in the Cath Lab. Additional duties include participating in unit development projects and other assigned responsibilities.
