AR772 – Field Service Engineer Location: Salisbury Salary: £36,500 Overtime Company Van Benefits Overview : First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs to a wide range of automated storage and retrieval systems. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong customer focus, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and customer satisfaction is maintained at all times. Duties and Responsibilities: Servicing, maintenance, and repair of automated storage and retrieval systems. Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions. Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Maintaining accurate service records and completing relevant documentation. Liaising with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice. Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to. Ordering and managing spare parts requirements. Representing the company in a professional manner, acting as a brand ambassador at all times. Supporting colleagues and providing assistance on larger installation and service projects where required. Skills and Qualifications: Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential). Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background. Previous experience with automated systems, material handling equipment, or similar machinery is highly desirable. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach. Full UK driving licence. Location: Salisbury Salary: £36,500 Overtime Company Van Benefits
