Family Solicitor

We are currently working with a well-regarded firm in North London that is looking for a talented Family Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven family law professional to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters, including financial remedy work (often with international elements), children disputes, and cohabitation issues. Working closely with senior solicitors and partners to deliver high-quality, pragmatic legal advice to clients. Handling pre- and post-nuptial agreements, Schedule 1 cases, relocation matters, and contested probate/Inheritance Act claims. Providing excellent client service, maintaining regular communication, and managing expectations effectively. Supporting billing processes, managing cash flow, and maintaining accurate time recording. Contributing to business development through networking, relationship building, and involvement in professional groups such as Resolution. Working towards personal and departmental targets in line with firm strategy. The successful candidate: 3-6 years' PQE in private family law. Strong experience handling a broad range of family law matters with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills. A client-focused and solution-driven mindset, with a commitment to minimising conflict. A proactive, collaborative team player with strong organisational skills. Commercial awareness and the ability to manage their own caseload efficiently.
