Job Description
A local authority shared service based in West London is seeking a Childcare Lawyer for an initial period of three months. The successful Childcare Lawyer will be required to carry a full caseload from the outset. You will undertake the following: Advise and have conduct of legal files on behalf of the council, Manage a caseload of public law care proceedings, child protection, adoption, NAI, and fostering matters. Lawyers where possible will also advise on SEN matters. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous. Candidates must have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role. You will need to be able to attend the council offices.
