Job Description
The Strategic Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving Megger’s strategic planning, business transformation, and high-impact initiatives. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership, this role combines rigorous analytical skills, structured problem-solving, and hands-on project delivery to shape the company’s future direction. The Strategic Business Analyst will prepare board-level materials, run strategic initiatives, and facilitate executive workshops while serving as a bridge between internal stakeholders and external consulting partners. Strategic Planning & Support Structure and support the CTO in executing Megger’s annual strategy process. Develop board-ready presentations for strategic topics such as M&A approvals and 5-year business plans. Collaborate with senior leaders to define, assess, and refine strategic priorities. Project & Initiative Management Serve as project manager for high-priority strategic initiatives, including: PMI (Post-Merger Integration) programs. Establishing new company sites (e.g., location shortlisting, evaluating government incentive schemes). Company-wide efficiency and effectiveness improvement programs. Other ad-hoc strategic projects. Manage day-to-day interactions with external parties such as consulting firms and market analyst companies. Workshop Design & Facilitation Prepare agendas, content, and materials for management workshops (excluding logistics). Facilitate workshops and follow up on actions to ensure progress and alignment. Apply proven facilitation and moderation techniques to guide discussions toward actionable outcomes. Analysis & Insight Generation Conduct deep-dive analyses to evaluate strategic options, assess market trends, and identify growth opportunities. Structure complex business problems, synthesize findings, and extract actionable recommendations for leadership. Leverage Excel and PowerPoint to develop clear, data-driven insights and communicate them effectively. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field from a top-tier university. MBA from a recognized business school strongly preferred. 3–5 years’ experience in a management consulting firm or strategy function within an industry-leading company. Skills & Competencies Exceptional analytical and problem-structuring skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight timelines. Skilled in facilitation and experienced in running management workshops. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and execution-oriented — a true “doer.”
