Commercial Solicitor – Manchester or Liverpool Location: Manchester / Liverpool Work pattern: Hybrid Salary: Up to £68,000 (Dependent on Experience) Level: 0–4 Years’ PQE Join a leading commercial team that advises a diverse client base across technology, retail and manufacturing as well as a recognised presence in the public sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid-level solicitor to deepen their expertise in commercial contracts including in more niche areas such as Sport. The Role You’ll work on a broad range of commercial matters, including: Advising on general commercial contracts such as supply and distribution, franchising and sponsoring agreements Drafting and negotiating outsourcing, SaaS, telecoms and collaboration agreements Advising clients on IP exploitation as well as general IP portfolio work Supporting clients from start-ups to global brands across their business lifecycle Collaborating with senior lawyers on strategic projects and client development Ideal Candidate We’re looking for a commercially minded solicitor with strong drafting skills and a proactive approach: 0–4 years’ PQE with experience in commercial contracts Exposure to TMT work, particularly outsourcing agreements is desirable Strong problem-solving mindset and client-focused approach Keen to grow within a collaborative, high-performing team A fantastic opportunity in a growing team Work in a nationally respected commercial practice with sector variety where you will support several Partners on a range of work Hybrid working and flexible hours to support work-life balance Clear progression pathways and structured development Supportive team culture with excellent retention and mentoring Opportunity to build long-term client relationships and shape your career This is a brilliant opportunity for a junior solicitor to gain hands-on experience in commercial law while being supported by a team that invests in your growth.
