Head of Property Services

Job description Venn Group has been approached by a leading housing association in the North West to recruit for a Head of Property Services on a permanent basis As the successful candidate you will have significant experience leading property services teams within the social housing sector, with a proven track record in delivering repairs, maintenance, and asset management programmes to the highest standards Duties will include: Leading and managing the Repairs, Maintenance, and Asset Management teams to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction Overseeing the delivery of responsive repairs, planned investment works, and compliance programmes across the housing stock Managing stock condition surveys and utilising the data to inform investment planning Driving decarbonisation and net zero initiatives to deliver more sustainable homes Ensuring services meet all regulatory standards, legislative requirements, and internal KPIs Preparing and managing departmental budgets to achieve financial and service delivery targets Reporting directly to the Director of Housing Operations and providing clear leadership to surveyors, administrators, and contractors Essential requirements: Relevant professional qualification or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar senior role within property services or asset management Proven experience in budget preparation and financial control Demonstrable success in delivering repairs and maintenance programmes for residential properties Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Knowledge of social housing regulations and compliance requirements Full UK driving licence Venn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates Please either submit an application or contact Tom Shingler on 0161 830 1830 for a confidential conversation Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £85,772.89 per annum Benefits: Car allowance Pension Scheme 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays Hybrid and agile working options Free on-site parking Additional company benefits Work Location: Hybrid / North West based
