Qualified Accountant / Manager - Belfast MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Qualified Accountant / Manager on a full time, permanent basis. The Company: Our client is the leading chartered accountancy firm in the UK and Ireland specialising in fitness entrepreneurs. Job Duties of the Qualified Accountant / Manager include: Strong understanding of reporting and filing deadlines (UK & Ireland) Mixed role covering: VAT returns Statutory accounts Management accounts Reviewing and producing pro forma financials Regular client communication (primarily team-based interactions) Responsible for managing the accounts team Oversee and support junior staff and bookkeepers Work closely with the tax team for integrated client service Handle a mixed client portfolio across UK and Irish markets What you need to be the Tax Admin/Payroll Senior Qualified Accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA) Open to QBE candidates Strong preference for candidates with Irish accounting experience UK accounting experience also desirable - ideally someone comfortable working across both jurisdictions Experience in both accounting and tax is preferred Someone with ambition and a strong desire to grow within the firm and help drive the business forward What's in it for you?
