Jameson Legal has direct instructions from our international City firm client, which has an exceptional opportunity for a proactive and ambitious Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Corporate team within a leading international firm in the City. You will play a key role in advising on a broad range of complex, high-profile, multi-jurisdictional transactions, within a small but growing team, offering genuine scope for impact and progression. Why this opportunity stands out: Meaningful responsibility from day one: You will work directly with Partners on significant public and private M&A and ECM transactions, including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, and cross-border deals - contributing to matters which are often high-profile and strategically important. You will be trusted to lead on matters, manage relationships and to support the development of junior colleagues. Key responsibilities include: Advising on public and private M&A transactions and ECM matters (including cross-border deals) Drafting and negotiating key legal documentation to help clients achieve their commercial objectives Managing matters and supervising the work of junior team members Liaising with other internal teams and coordinating with overseas counsel as required Taking an active role in business development and marketing initiatives Contributing to the firm's knowledge management, including the development of templates and speaking at internal/external events Enhancing your own legal knowledge through structured learning and independent research Supporting the Partners in developing junior talent and promoting best practice across the team The impact you can expect to make: By joining this team, you will not only work on market-leading transactions, but also position yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, a key contributor to the team's success and a future leader within the firm.
